I’m Eden
I’m from Oakland CA, but spent half of my time living in SF as well. Like most photographers stories, I discovered my affinity for the art by being gifted a small point and shoot film camera as a child. When I was in high school, I took up a photography class and was lucky enough to be given an amazing mentor who taught me so much of what I carry with me now. She took us around the city and had us photograph reality as it happened. The good, the bad. the ugly. My hometowns have made me so much of who I am today, and having that camera thrown over my shoulder was how I documented my own reality. As I became a photographer for hire, I felt it was extremely important to keep the art of storytelling alive by integrating it into my professional work. My goal has + always will be to make sure that my subjects feel well represented. One of my favorite elements of photography is that there are so many of us, yet we all have our own set of eyes. As cliche as this might sound, its so true. This enables us to create still photos that represent how we see our surroundings. I take pride in getting to know my subjects, and sharing how I view them. It even allows for a glimpse into how my subjects see themselves, each other, and THEIR surroundings. My camera is my friend, my advocate and my photos are my contribution to the world of human connection.

We have hired Eden for multiple occasions now. First my husband hired her to take pictures when he proposed. These photos turned out amazing and it was so nice to have them to remember that special moment. My mom hired her for my bridal shower and we loved having professional photos for that event as well. I booked her for our wedding and she did a fantastic job! Our pictures turned out beautiful and she captured so many great moments and details from the night! I highly recommend her. Last Sunday Eden took some graduation photos of me and it's only been 2 days and she got them back to me!
